  • Your computer boots to DOS-Mode.
    Try this: At the DOS prompt, type:
    win /wx
    and press Enter.

    If that does not fix it,
    rename the autoexec.bat and config.sys files from DOS -
    Type the following and press Enter after each line:
    CD\
    REN autoexec.bat autoexec.ba_
    REN config.sys config.sy_
    Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to reboot.
