HI THERE !!!!

My name is Mr. Andrew Stearns. You are about to learn a little bit about myself, and history of Saskatoon and surrounding

areas. Born in Swift Current 10/27/78. My familly and I lived in throughout Saskatchewan until I was about 5yrs old. We then

moved to Saskatoon where my mother had previously lived. I attended Grosvener Parc pre kindergarten which was in french.

When it was time for me to start elementary school my mother chose Cardinal Leger, not because it was a Catholic school but

because it offered an emersion program. At 12 we moved again to a beautiful farm running parallel with the South Saskatchewan

river 10 miles north of Aberdeen. Since there was no french in Aberdeen my mother decided I would attend school at Vonda.

Now Vonda was not like anywhere else in Saskatchewan, reason being that it was an entire french comunity.
